Introduction to Business for the Body Work Practitioner
This course will focus on Business practice and ethics for the body work practitioner. Marketing your practice and the development of business cards and brochures. We will provide an over view of how to set up a business, file tax returns and work with bookkeeping systems, both computerized and manual. Dealing with insurance companies and many other aspects of running a small business that most body workers find tiresome and tedious.
We will demonstrate how it can be made relatively painless and dare we say fun.
Professional Ethics for the somatic practitioner will include dealing with difficult clients, transference and counter transference. This is an opportunity to share experiences and learn from each other as well as reinforcing the professional standards of the somatic healing industry.
