The
Vermont Institute of Massage was founded on January 1, 1986.
Since then it has dedicated itself to promoting massage as a
legitimate part of the health care community.
Students graduate from the Institute with a broad understanding of massage within the larger context of health care and the healing arts.
Our school encourages and supports a joyous and meditative approach toward personal clarity, practical experience, and a fundamental understanding of the forces of health and life. We feel that healing means re-establishing the natural harmony and balance of the energies of the spiritual, mental, and physical bodies.
