This course is
an introduction to illness and disease pertaining to massage therapy.
Special attention is given to precautions, contraindications, and
indications for massage sessions when working with massage clients
presenting special conditions. Students will feel confident in
knowing when and how to refer clients to other healthcare
professionals.
