Basic Massage
This course
will involve the student in learning the art of giving a full body
massage using Swedish, Esalen and Acupressure techniques.
Emphasis is placed upon developing awareness and sensitivity to
"touch" in a hands-on learning situation. Deep relaxation
techniques will also be introduced to the student. Identification
of basic bones and muscles is used in the class to familiarize the
student with anatomy. This course is the foundation for further
study at the Institute..
